Bamboo Decking
dassoXTR Bamboo Decking is the superior choice for natural decking applications and has been used worldwide in many commercial and residential projects. Our bamboo decks incorporate dasso's patented fusion process and have been Thermally Modified. All dassoXTR bamboo decking products are Class A-rated, W.U.I. compliant, dimensionally stable, will not warp or buckle, have zero VOC, no leaching, and install 30% faster. All of our bamboo deck planks are precision end-matched to attach the planks seamlessly together.
The bamboo deck planks come in 2 different profiles called G2 Deck Plank (XTR-DK20-G2-PP and EPC-DK20-G2-PP) and G1 Starter/End Plank (XTR-DK20-G1-PP and EPC-DK20-G1-PP). The G1 Starter/End Plank is also used as stair treads and risers. These are also available in two colors - Classic Espresso and Epic Cognac.
The G2 Bamboo Deck Plank has 2 grooves, one on each of the long sides on the plank meant for attaching the fastener. The gaps between deck rows differ based on the type of fastener used. Most top-down installed fasteners will leave a gap of 7/32”, this is because the space is necessary to allow the driver to reach the screw head.
The G1 bamboo deck plans are meant to be used as starter and end planks. It has a groove on one side and a flush on the other long side of the planks. The G1 plank is also for use on the stairs step. Two planks usually form a step and 1 plank forms a riser. dassoXTR Bamboo Decking is a modular design system to installs seamlessly together.
