Soffit Project

The underside of any building structure, such as arch, projecting cornice or the underside stairs is called a soffit. Our soffit plank uses our 4" wide shiplap planks with tongue and grooves on the short ends. It is similar to the RainClad Shiplap Siding Planks with exception it is thinner and narrower for an elongated look. It comes in 1/2" x 4" x 6ft (xxx-SOF12-100TG-PP) and is installed with its custom designed fastener (ASF-FS2-BK). The starter Clips (ASF-SC1-BK) as its name, is used on the first row of planks. Soffit shiplap planks can also be used as wall and siding panels as well and vice versa. Refer to dassoXTR RainClad® Siding if a wider plank look is preferred on your project.

Installation is simplified with the designed fasteners and the planks can be installed horizontally or vertically. Installation time and product wastage is reduced by 50% compared to traditional wood plank installation.
