When it comes to building materials, hardwood is still the prime element that adds value to a property.  Tropical hardwood is a step higher due to the fact that many has the natural extractives that is resistance to insect and mold attack. dassoXTR Fused Bamboo Decking is designed to exceed the requeirements quality characteristic of the most known tropical hardwood for exterior use - Ipe wood.  Fused Bamboo is the superior choice for exterior decking applications and has been tested by ICC-ES and Miami-Dades to meet the highest technical requirements for natural or composite decking materials. dasso creates bamboo products that meet the highest quality for interior and exterior spaces.  dassoXTR enhance the beauty and value of your renovation.  It has been used in applications that meet local and worldwide standards in many commercial and residential projects.

dassoXTR Fused Bamboo Decking comes in multiple colors ranging from light brown to dark hue.  Classic Espresso has the most popular dark brown of natural wood.  in standard size 1x6 deck board. Rounded 3mm on 4 sides and beveled on ends. Every board is 6 feet long with tongue and groove end-matched on each end and the board is reversible. You could opt to use smooth surface or the reeded surface as top. Because the decking boards are end-match with tongue and groove, you are able to join those boards to form as long a deck as possible just like interior wood flooring. Most importantly, the joins do not need to fall on the joist. The deck boards come in 2 different profile called G2 Deck board (xxx-DK20-G2-PP) and G1 Starter/Ending board (xxx-DK20-G1-PP).

The G2 Deck board has 2 grooves, one on each of the long side on the board meant for attaching fastener. The gaps between rows differ base on fastener. Most top down installed fastener will leave a gap wider than 3/16”, this is because the space is necessary to allow driver to reach screwhead.

The G1 board is meant for starter and ending boards. It has a groove on one side and flush on the other long side. The G1 board is also for use on the stairs step. Two boards usually form a step and 2 boards also form a raiser. dassoXTR Fused Bamboo Decking is design in module to install seamlessly together.

 

dassoXTR is not your regular bamboo decking. It different from your regular bamboo in many ways. Here is a list of features and benefits on fused bamboo.

• Designed specifically for exterior use, but suitable for interior as well due to the fact that it is zero VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) and no leaching.

• No Leaching of chemicals,. dassoXTR is safe to be use along pool sides and aquariums.
• Resistant to Decay, Mold and Insects – Without nutrient and with fiber encapsulated in bowling ball resin, the material does not attract rotting agent.
• Homogeneous and consistent visual appearance - You can be sure of what you are getting. Unlike Ipe wood, you are uncertain of the quality and color consistency that you are getting.
• Reversible profile with Smooth & Reeded surface – One single product provide you 2 different looks. The reeded boards are fully functional as stair step with reeded side up.

New!!! dassoXTR's Bamboo Decking is now available in 10-foot lengths. The 10-foot board end-matched to the 6-foot board makes a perfect 16-foot board. 10+6=16-foot!!  We all know that the 16-foot board is the darling of the industry.

The solid bamboo deck boards come in 2 different profiles called G2 Deck board (XTR-DK20-G2-PP and EPC-DK20-G2-PP) and G1 Starter/End board (XTR-DK20-G1-PP and EPC-DK20-G1-PP).  The G1 Starter/End board is also used as stair treads and risers. These are also available in two colors - Classic Espresso and Epic Cognac.

The G2 Sustainable Bamboo Deck board has 2 grooves, one on each of the long sides of the board meant for attaching the fastener. The G1 Sustainable Bamboo Deck boards are meant to be used as starter row and end boards. It has a groove on one side and a flush on the other long side of the boards.

Pre-Oiled Decking - Standard Colors

dassoXTR comes in 2 standard pre-oiled colors, Espresso and Cognac.

Espresso color is the result of taking Classic Unfinished boards, stained with WOCA Walnut penetrating oil.  This leaves the boards rich and dark with a tight band of natural color range desire by most unique audience.

Cognac color on the other hand, is a result of staining Epic Unfinished boards with a custom blend of WOCA penetrating oil.  We know the two color option may not be within your choice of colors.  Hence, we now stock unfinished materials in both Classic and Epic so you could choose to custom design your own colors.

Unfinished Decking - Customized Your Color

We know that life is never one size fits all.  That's why we stock unfinished products of both of our popular Fused Bamboo - Classic and Epic.

Classic Unfinished panels in itself is a darker material, hence it would be much harder to stain them to a lighter color.  This however could be achieved by using opac or semi-opac coatings.

Epic Unfinished panels on the other hands are neutral in color, so you would have much success in staining the planks to your choice of custom color.
