What feels like wood, cuts like wood, but is low maintenance like composite? Fused Bamboo lumber has the feel and touch like dense tropical hardwoods. It cuts and glues like tropical hard woods as well but is low maintenance like composite. You could cut, mill, turn, and route fused bamboo lumber to the shapes you prefer. You could also join fused bamboo in multiple ways – side joint, finger-joint, butt-joint and biscuit joint and etc… just like you would with any tropical wood. Use standard wood joints techniques with wood glue for your joints. For exterior usage, use exterior grade glue for the joints. dassoXTR bamboo lumber and panels are dimentionally stable and will not warp or cup, it is even more stable than most composite. Treat Fused Bamboo lumber just like you would with any tropical wood in general and you will be fine.
