East Coast Territory Sales Representative (03/30/2022)

GOAL AND OBJECTIVES

  • Establish new 2-step building material distributors
  • Provide product knowledge training to distributor’s staff, aligned resellers and architect firms
  • Increase sales for dasso products and build brand awareness
  • Identify new opportunities to drive sales and increase market share
  • Expand retailer base in the assigned East Coast territory

SALES POSITION:

Seeking Territory Sales Representative for the East Coast with a proven track record and extensive sales experience to help us develop new growth in the build materials industry. Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the East Coast calling on distributors, retail stores, contractors, and architects. Previous experience within the build materials channel a plus. DUTIES & RESPONSUIBILITES:

(This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the Company.)

  • Sell Company products, programs, and promotions to retailers and distributors
  • Sales and Product knowledge Training
  • Assist retailer/distributor sales representative in communicating and establishing relationship with builders, developers and architects.
  • Conduct product knowledge training for architects, retailers and sales representative

  • Develop selling plans that resonate with retailers and encompass conceptual selling themes across all Company categories
  • Demonstrate product and industry knowledge to effectively market and sell dasso’s products
  • Collaborate with marketing department to identify sales opportunities that can be acted upon to drive sales performance
  • Be accountable for delivering all assigned retail execution objectives and key company priorities within your respective assignment
  • Develop and maintain strong retail and distributor partnerships
  • Identify new opportunities to improve sales and grow market share
  • Help distributors to grow dasso products to their customer base
  • Measure resources to maximize time allocation on a store-by-store basis to maximize productivity and meet objectives
  • Call on architects and specifiers
  • Optimize assignment coverage designs to maximize retail activity time in achieving strategic objectives
  • Retail Store Development
  • Ensure placement and service of our merchandising fixtures/displays
  • Ensure all requirements of our retail partnership agreements are being maintained by retail stores
  • Ensure and maintain all promotional programs and competitive pricing initiatives.
  • Marketplace intelligence to identify new sales opportunities and trends

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license issued from state of residence
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Problem/situation analysis
  • Good time and task management skills
  • Make sales and obtain commitments
  • Communicate to a broad and diverse audience
  • Maintain effective working relationships
  • Work with diverse populations and varying education levels
  • Receive and communicate information orally and in writing
  • Prioritize assignments, workload, and manage time accordingly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field of study
  • 1+ years related sales experience
  • Previous experience in the building materials sales channel
  • Employee must live within the boundary of the assignment or within a pre-approved mileage from the boundary or be willing to relocate at your own expense
  • Requires moderate physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (10-70 lbs.)
  • Able to bend, crouch, stretch, climb, or reach in retail environments
  • Willing to travel throughout multi-state sales territory

Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the West Coast from California to Washington state, calling on distributors, retail stores, contractors, and architects.
