Bamboo Docks, Marinas and Boardwalks

Finding the perfect durable, eco-friendly, and versatile bamboo boardwalk decking product for your pond, lake, canal, marina, or other water feature, doesn’t have to be challenging. Our dock planks can withstand an incredible number of people. Boardwalks, Piers, Docks, and Marinas are just another form of decking platform. The 1" thick planks are intended for foot traffic alone regardless of whether the deck is considered commercial or residential.  The 2" thick planks on the other hand are intended for a more robust heavy-duty commercial function where maintenance vehicles could travel on. The boardwalk as we know it, could be as wide as 30ft with a storefront on one side and a walkway on the other. We know this innovative product can handle the job.

dassoXTR's Boardwalk planks have been used and time-tested on boardwalks all over the World. The dock deck boards are dimensionally stable and won't swell or buckle from ocean water or high humidity. Even after a hurricane they can recover the heavy planks and reattach them to the boardwalks. With this in mind, we created the Boardwalk Decking Planks to be able to withstand the weight of maintenance vehicles. Span 12” o.c for vehicle intended piers and span max. 36” for general walking traffic dock.

Factory-finished Colors

dassoXTR comes in 2 standard pre-oiled colors, Espresso and Cognac.

Espresso color is the result of taking Classic Unfinished boards, stained with WOCA Walnut penetrating oil.  This leaves the boards rich and dark with a tight band of natural color range desire by most unique audience.

Cognac color on the other hand, is a result of staining Epic Unfinished boards with a custom blend of WOCA penetrating oil.  We know the two color option may not be within your choice of colors.  Hence, we now stock unfinished materials in both Classic and Epic so you could choose to custom design your own colors.

We know that life is never one size fits all.  That's why we stock unfinished products of both of our popular Fused Bamboo - Classic and Epic.

Classic Unfinished panels in itself is a darker material, hence it would be much harder to stain them to a lighter color.  This however could be achieved by using opac or semi-opac coatings.

Epic Unfinished panels on the other hands are neutral in color, so you would have much success in staining the planks to your choice of custom color.
