Bamboo S2S Lumber and Panels
Let’s take a minute to appreciate bamboo panels. There’s truly nothing that can compare to the durability, style, and sustainability of bamboo, and these panels achieve it all. These exterior wood panels are great for various projects because they present a blank canvas.
dassoXTR Fused Bamboo Lumber and Panels are to be
considered as solid lumber that comes slightly oversized and unfinished, so they can be sanded and worked on. The material look like wood, feels like wood and cuts like wood. They are generally S2S (Smooth 2
Side) without side treatment, though generally the sides are clean cut thus
giving a true square edge on all side. The material is sanded on
the surface to P180 sand paper just like all plywood and MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard).
And like all lumber and panels product, choose your face as expose surface
carefully. Both lumber and panels come with only one surface as AA
grade and the other surface as CC grade. When working with Fused Bamboo
product, always assume you are working with natural tropical wood. dassoXTR Fused Bamboo reacts like
wood/bamboo except it is stronger, durable, more stable and fire resistance. When working on Fused Bamboo(R),
cuts, mills, glues and coats them as if you would do on a piece of hardwood (Ipe, Cumaru, Redwood or Cedar). Use the same millwork
tools and woodworking techniques you learn in wood technical schools.
A common tungsten carbide saw blade will be able to provide a clean cut
on dassoXTR lumber and panels. The material itself is Class A Fire-rated, dimensionally stable, will not warp or buckle, zero VOC and
no leaching.
The Lumber and Panels come in 2 different colors and as
always, the lighter Epic Cognac color could be stained or painted over in
semi-transparent polyurethane or solid color polyurethane. The Fused Bamboo(R) product colors are throughout the thickness and are not skin deep.
Always remember to follow coatings manufacturer application manual to get the
best effect of finishes. As with wood, Fused Bamboo would rich up in
color when a layer of coatings - Oil, Wax or Polyurethane - is applied to its surface. Do not be
surprised when a finished piece looks different in colors to an unfinished bare Fused Bamboo(R). Browse the selection of bamboo panels today, and get started on your next project.
Both Fused Bamboo(R) lumber and panels come oversized for
trimming in two different thickness: 3/4" (20MM) and 1-1/2"
(40MM). A custom thickness 5/4” (30MM) is available for Special Order
in volume.

Keys:
- 1st 3 Alphabets: denote either Classic Espresso or Epic Cognac. XTR = Classic Espresso and EPC = Epic Cognac
- 2nd 3 Alphabets and 2 Numeric: denote LUM = Lumber or PAN = Panel and 20 = 20MM or 40 = 40MM
- 3th Numeric and Alphabets: denote width, 205 = 205MM wide and F = Flush End
- 4th Alphabets: PP = Pre-primed or if no denote, it means unfinished

Lumber are multi-purpose in nature. They are commonly use as fascia plank for the deck or use as top hand-railing, cut into baluster, use as post wrapping. Other use the lumber for benches, countertops, fences, garden furniture or planter barriers. The use are endless.
Panels on the other hand is suitable for outlining the panels into slat park bench and are ideal for general millworks in creating outdoor furnishings for years of lasting beauty.
